The System
What is the Lumière de Rejuvenate system?
It is a four-step anti-aging ritual — not a collection of individual products. Each formulation prepares the skin for the next, creating a sequence that addresses the visible signs of aging at every level: Cleanser prepares, Essence hydrates, Serum transforms, and Moisturiser seals. The system is the product. The ritual is the active ingredient.
Do I need all four products?
The full benefit of the system is achieved when all four steps are used in sequence. Each step is formulated to prepare the skin for the next — the Essence hydrates to a depth that allows the Serum to penetrate more effectively, and the Moisturiser seals everything the preceding steps have delivered. However, if you are new to the system, we suggest beginning with the Essence and Serum, then adding the Cleanser and Moisturiser as your ritual expands.
What makes Luxella different from other skincare brands?
Most skincare treats the surface. Luxella treats the biology beneath it. Every decision — from ingredient selection to formulation sequence — is guided by barrier-first science rather than marketing trends. We do not add ingredients for texture, fragrance, or convenience. What is barrier-first science?
It is the principle that the skin barrier must be intact and functioning before any active ingredient can perform optimally. The stratum corneum and its supporting lipid matrix are the foundation of all skin health. When compromised — through stripping cleansers, over-exfoliation, or aggressive actives — no amount of active ingredients can compensate. Luxella prioritises barrier integrity above all else: ceramides to rebuild, gentle surfactants to preserve, and controlled delivery systems to prevent irritation. Barrier first. Actives second. Irritation never.
What key ingredients are in Luxella formulations?
Every Luxella formulation is built around four core pillars: an 8-Ceramide Complex for barrier support, encapsulated retinol for controlled renewal, our signature 11-Type Hyaluronic Acid Matrix for layered hydration, and copper tripeptide for dermal signalling support. These are complemented by niacinamide, tranexamic acid, arbutin, squalane, Ectoin, and a signature Lactococcus Ferment Lysate that supports the microbiome and reinforces barrier resilience — each selected for its precise role within the sequence. All ingredients are chosen for purity and performance, sourced from wherever they are produced at their finest.
Are Luxella products safe for sensitive skin?
Yes — barrier-first science means sensitive skin is not an afterthought; it is the starting point. All formulations are free from known irritants: no drying alcohols, no synthetic fragrances, no essential oils, no harsh surfactants. Our encapsulated retinol releases progressively to help make retinol more accessible for women with sensitive skin. That said, individual sensitivity varies. We recommend patch testing any new product and introducing the system gradually — beginning with the Hydrating Essence before moving to the Serum.
Usage & Ritual
How do I use the 4-step system?
Morning and evening: begin with the Gentle Facial Cleanser on damp skin, massaging gently before rinsing. Follow with the Hydrating Essence, pressing into the skin with clean palms. In the evening only, apply the Youth Activator Retinol Serum — a pea-sized amount is sufficient. Seal everything with the Silky Moisturiser, smoothing upward and outward. In the morning, follow with SPH — we recommend completing your ritual with a trusted broad-spectrum sunscreen.
When will I see results?
Skin biology operates on its own timeline — weeks, not days. With consistent use, most women notice improved hydration and a visible reduction in surface dryness within the first two to three weeks. Fine lines and texture begin to soften around the six-to-eight-week mark as the complexion becomes more refined. The deepest changes — improved barrier function, improved resilience, a measurable shift in skin quality — require three to six months of consistent system use. Luxella is not a quick result. It is a long-term commitment.
At what age should I start using Luxella?
The ideal time is when your skin’s biology begins its first measurable transition — typically from the mid-twenties onward, when the skin’s natural renewal process begins its gradual transition. However, the system serves all three biological stages: Prevention & Preservation (25–34), Correction & Strengthening (35–44), and Renewal & Resilience (45+). The earlier you begin, the more effectively the system preserves what is already there. It is never too early to support your skin’s long-term architecture.

Are Luxella products tested on animals?
No. Luxella does not test on animals. We believe that effective skincare can — and must — be developed without animal testing. All ingredients are selected based on existing safety data and clinical research, and our formulations are tested for stability and efficacy through modern in vitro and clinical testing methods.
